Topic about Shutting HCM

I have decided to create a global thread for the topic of the site shutting down.
I wasn't going to do anything, nor lock the thread, but its already a mess as is.

So, this thread is all related to HCM,or the idea of creating a copy of HCM.

You can talk about web dev (full stack), social media, and/or the creation of Discord server.

Creating a server similar to bewa's, or as a host provider, isn't hard to do. This can be done as:

• Dis-HTML (HTML can be switched to PHP, SQL/NoSQL, and/or Discord bots if you're brave enough)
  or
• Telegram (requires a certain number of people to unlock server functions), and/or Telegram bot

Just keep in mind...
HTML Format (Website) > Discord Servers
by a long shot. Why? Easier to adjust, updating, fixing, displays, and doesn't required 100+ Discord channels for each characters

I would go with the HTML/Website format option.

Any provider you would suggest besides AWS/Cloudflare? Of course, for handling adult content, at least for the website and everything related, and for images and files (chars, stages, and the like), a third party like MEGA, just like how this works.

Sadly, I don't have any recommendation when it comes to web hosting, especially on the nsfw content.

I know how to code in web developer, such as css, javascript, and some back end(SQL,php, etc...), but I never
went deep into actually making anything out of it. I only create local html for easy readable, and quick
samples when it comes to coding, or personal stuff like "A Reminder" Document, but written as html

Mega is good for uploading or downloading characters, but Mega does have a reaching limit... I believe,
and I can be wrong about it, but after downloading 2GB of files. Mega will force users into premium.

Not too sure if its per day, or per week, since I'm not a person that goes crazy in downloading everything lol

for uploading and downloading there's buzzheavier, is not the safest and has ads, but has good downloading speed and no payment requirements to download large files AFAIK, that can change in the future of course, there's a payment to keep the files up tho, it's like 5 dollars a month, there's also a special tier for uploading files for free and almost unlimited, with the only requirement being to be part of a Non-profitable website or organization.

it's the best option currently, or at least the cheapest, and even if is not too safe, virustotal and kasperky can do the checking (if someone actually bought kaspersky)

If you guys do have an idea of opening a new site you should consider exchanging contact information. There isn't that much time left before this one is gone. Also what would be the plan for letting people know if you did end up making something new? A new site might show up one day, but no one will know what its called or where to find it.

I understand the weak point of the Hentai world is where to host it or just have the site (website, forum, etc.), but all hentai/porn files hosted on free and temporary hosting sites or something similar could work, but be aware if the hosting provider doesn't consider that a violation of their rules, linking to pornographic content.

I am an enthusiastic hobbyist who also enjoys using HTML for personal projects or when I had my own site, but since I started using a "blogger" type platform for my blog some time ago, I haven't used HTML anymore, but I could go back to using it.

Interesting information. The request was to link the file download to the MUGEN character or project page and encourage the user to use online file scanning tools for viruses. However, that's the only approach; a review should also be done to determine the type of content in the compressed file (for example, pornographic illegal material no tolerent).

Well, it's not that simple: just create a website and that's it. In a previous thread, was able to break down everything involved in creating a site with this type of content, including the cost. So, I don't think any such site will emerge from this at the moment, but it could lay the groundwork for others to start one.

Do people still use anti-virus? lol Virus total is a good tool for checking files for malware/randomize/trojan virus. Not perfect, but still useful
