I'd like to share some of what's happening: a website is being developed, but it's not a repository or an HCM clone. It's a site we hope will attract enthusiasts of this genre.

Now, as we all know, the site contains diverse and interesting data. Your proposal is good, but the forum is a much larger undertaking—over 5,000 messages. Okay, you're going to start; it will serve as a reference and complement to what will be in the project.

By "this genre", you mean mugen, right? I hope so. Anyway, I look forward to the project.

For the forum, I tried WAIL and I don't think it works. I'll have to tinker with HTTrack and run it for a while. If it goes over 10 GB I'll just stop it. I wish there was some way to just get the valuable threads. For those who don't know, WAIL makes WACZ files while HTTrack makes html and other files, both viewable offline.

Sorry, I don't know anything about hosting, I've only worked with XAMPP which is primarily for offline.

I'm not sure about this. If you use my file, then you can choose the character type using the search box like you would on the actual site, without having to switch between multiple files. And making a new file for each character would not be efficient at all.

Sorry, I didn't explain it very clearly. The character file itself is too large, exceeding 10GB. Even splitting it into two or three parts would help with the download.

By the way, my average download speed is only 4MB/s, and it would take at least an hour to download completely...

For a slow connection, or an unstable connection. Its recommended to break it into:
20 pieces (500MB) per package
10 pieces (1GB) per package
5 pieces (2GB) per package

Its a requirement to break it into many pieces unless you wished to pay premium to download more than 2GB for free users. I can be wrong about the 2GB, but you will get an alert asking you to become premium because you exceed the limit.

It would be a nightmare that you lost connection when hitting 99% after taking so long to download lol

After letting the download for the entire forum run for ~4 hours it finished, unexpectedly. It's surprisingly small at 1.37 GB but there's a LOT of of files. I'll make a .rar file and upload it here. To use it, extract the files and then open index.html in a browser. It looks like everything is there, maybe others can download and tell if something's missing or anything. I guess for now just my forum nickname, since that's also my discord username. But it can be changed later right? In case I want to, because I'm not sure that this will be my permanent nickname.

for now, just "ecchi_better." (exactly the same as my discord) but I might wanna change my username later or my discord could get banned or etc.

I don't think you'll get ban for having a username like that. I have seen worst name in Discord and their account are active.
#1 rules of Discord, if it makes them money, they don't care about anything else. This applies to Roblox too, which is
why both are usually working together and "support the user and community" when really its a lie.
