Tired of searching, or seeing the same stupid title that reflect the same issues? Search no more and link those people to this thread. If they are willing to fix it, they will fix it with this tutorial. However, if they want you to fix the issue, that's sounds like a they problem than a you problem.
The most common titles you might find are as follow:
- Characters won’t show
- Characters not appearing
- Characters is not in selection
- Character won't run, or be seen
- Characters can't be pick

The most common issued is "The folder name doesn't match the "***.def"

Rename the Folder with the same name as "***.def" without ".def"
I recommend using the underscore if you wish to have space in between the name
Example:
Do this "Umbreon_Lover"
rather then "Umbreon Lover"
The second most common issued is "You never added the character in "select.def"

- Mugen/Data/select.def
- Customize Mugen should still have the "Select.def" its somewhere in their folders
Open the Select.def and look inside until you find
"[Characters]"
Below that, you type the character name. Either by
An extreme common problem are:
- Characters are not support with old versions.
- Characters has issues with graphics, because I'm using an old version.
- Only support for Ikemen-GO

The easiest solution is to upgrade your mugen version.

- The lastest original is mugen 1.1b
- Customizes lastest version of mugen is Ikemen-GO

Second solution,
you will have to manually adjust all the missing colors to support 1.0 while changing, or deleting some of the codes that aren't support in mugen 1.0.
This applies the same way if the character is only support for Ikemen go
