if its that cheap i would rather just make my own site with a better system that helps all creators not just a few

The point isn't how cheap it is, it's that the hosting service allows adult content, the bandwidth is adequate, you also have to keep in mind that you have to add the cost of the address (sometimes the same provider offers that service) and well I think that's all to have a site, then there's the website/forum itself but for the price they should give you those and other tools.
