Making Sprites(also template?)

I’ve always been a little bit curious, but how do you folk go about making sprites? I guess this applies for really any kind of sprite, SFW or NSFW
For example, if I’m ever feeling a lil raunchy and want to see my own characters in game, I often use Ibis paint with a Pixel brush to create a “sprite”, then remove its background and put it into Fighter Factory. Mainly use a Pixel brush in order to match the general style of other sprites.
That being said, I know there is a technically I guess a “aggressor template” in the form of the Invisible Man character on here, but is there a “victim template” as well? Really just for the basic Baomaru poses(Doggy, Missionary, Cowgirl, Suspended Congress(this seems to be the most common name for this position)) as well as basic character things like the Invisible Man.
I often have to replace another characters sprite just for my own, so having a “template” would be a little easier. I’m not some master class artist LOL but sometimes its a little fun to make sprites
